pain‍‌‍‍‌ point – the 20 cm that negatively affects your occupancy

Regular box spring foundations add 20-30 cm which is purely decorative. If your accommodation has low ceilings or is a loft-style apartment, bed-on-platform setup, that extra 20-30 cm makes the room seem smaller, the bed bigger, and the online photographs of the room suddenly look completely misleading when a guest walks in.

The guest does not understand why a room seems to be cramped up, they just realize that the photo does not convey the same feel when they were actually there, and that could lead to a bad review

Hotel purchase team this problem affects both the look and the profit of the hotel. Open spaces create happy guests. Happy guests lead to higher occupancy rates. Higher occupancy rates lead to higher ADRs. A mattress that takes away the feeling of having a big room before the guest even touches it is already against your interest.

Just thinning out the foam is not going to be our solution. Better design!

We developed – a box spring mattress

Internal testing against the top US and EU low-profile mattress models has shown that nearly all of them have a spring height less than 12 cm and use foam layers of 5 cm or more to cover up for the lack of support – a commercial use compromise resulting in an early onset of sagging. Instead of this, we developed a product from bottom up - i.e. first the spring part followed by foam or comfort layer.

We started to design our mattress with a 18 cm deep pocket spring (not a truncated, compromised one). 2.0–2.2mm steel wire, 6 turns per coil – the construction similar to our hotel mattresses. Then we removed bulky foam layers that just add height without improving support.

What we ended up with a low-profile mattress that is still really supportive. It is level with a regular bed frame. A mattress of this kind allows a guest to sleep comfortably and also provides support to the guest. Besides the mattress doesn't sag.

This is our innovation

• The springs are real full size ones. We have not cut down the springs to reduce height. An 18 cm pocket springs (6-turn coils) provide support equivalent to 25 cm mattress – achieving approx. 90-95% level of load bearing capacity as determined by our in house ILD testing.

• The mattress is reinforced on the edges. There are 2 rows of 2.2mmspring wires on the perimeter that prevent the collapse of the edge. Even when a guest is sitting on the mattress edge, he won't be sliding down.

• The cover is supporting the springs, not restricting. Breathable fabric of aloe Vera knit 320 grams. A 2cm D foam pad to comfort without increasing the depth.

What is the benefit for your hotel?

A low-profile mattress but with a commercial usage capacity proof as it contains 18 cm springs, 80 ,000 compression cycles, and a15 -year warranty. That is the final word for the hotel procurement department. Moreover, as the mattress is vacuum-compressed & roll-packed, freight costs are estimated to be 30-40 % lower than for standard box springs.

Limited height, maximum support, lifespan up to 10-15 years, cheaper freight, guest ‍‌‍‍‌satisfaction.

Core Advantages – Box Spring vs Traditional Options

A‍‌‍‍‌ typical box spring lifts the mattress but it does not contribute to its support. Here's how ours differs:

1. Full-Depth Springs, Low Profile—Standard low-profile mattresses use shortened springs that sag under weight. Our 18cm pocket springs provide support equal to a 25cm mattress - reaching around 90-95% of the load-bearing capability (based on internal ILD tests), without an increase in height. For hotel applications where ceiling clearance is a constraint, this is the closest you can get to a full-height mattress in a low-profile package.

2. Edges That Don't Collapse - Edges of many standard mattresses start to soften after only a few months.\xa0Two rows of 2.2mm reinforced side springs keep the borders firm. Guests can sit comfortably without sliding off.

3. Cover That Goes Together Rather Than Conflicts - Standard covers retain heat. Breathability of320g aloe vera knit fabric is enhanced. 2cm D2030 foam is used for cushioning without adding volume.

4. Motion Isolation – Individual spring pockets prevent the transfer of movement from one spring to another by more than 60% compared to Bonnell coils. So, a guest who翻身 the other guest still sleeps.

5. Freight Cost Advantage – Vacuum roll pack shrinks volume by 70%, which causes freight costs to drop by 30-40% compared to traditional box springs.

In summary: A short low-profile mattress with support not being a problem. Ideal for hotels, apartments, and bedrooms that want to modernize the sleep ‍‌‍‍‌system.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

1.‍‌‍‍‌ Spring Wire Preparation: High-carbon steel wire used for spring making is first being drawn/rolled to the diameter of around 2.0-2.2mm

2. Pocket Spring Manufacture: Totally by a machine – springs with 30 turns each, diameter of springs is 18cm, spring width of 22/12mm

3. Border stiffening: To make the edge of spring block stronger and resistant two rows of 2.2mm wire springs are applied along the edges

4. Sealing each spring: A nonwoven fabric is used for wrapping, then two rows of fabric are ultrasons welded together

5. Putting in layers: After springs layer, D2030 foam is added and everything is covered with a cover

6. Quilting: An alloeveara knit fabric is used for the cover, its weight is of 320gr/m²

7. QA Inspection: The product is checked for its compliance at almost every step

8. Packaging by compression & roll: It is first compressed (70% shrinkage in volume), after that it is rolled and placed in a box

The process of spring making is over 95% automated. There are machines involved, which are of 20+, and the defect rate less than half of the percentage (0.5%) ‍‌‍‍‌
