Luxury hotel procurement managers face a problem. Not just comfortable beds, their job is to ensure consistent comfort for guests. Different people lie on the beds, and therefore sleep in different ways. A lightweight person sleeping on his/her side wants the pillow to be nice and soft to take the weight off the shoulders. A heavier person lying on his/her front wants the mattress to firm up and take the weight off the hip area. One mattress will need to do both.

Standard bed springs consist of only one wire.

Therefore, they have one stiffness, and it's the mattress that will determine it. Therefore, one customer will sleep very well; the other one will be very dissatisfied. The reviews that are left afterward are quite negative.

Our dual spring design can accommodate different body types.

The layer on top is made up of mini pocket springs. These micro pocket springs have a size of 1.4 mm and are quite pliant, so they suit side sleepers who are not very heavy to sleep very comfortably under their shoulders. The bottom layer is made up of heavy-duty pocket springs with a gauge of 1.9mm that is sturdy enough to support the heaviest guest. So it gives the guest a double-layered mattress that has a comfort zone at each level. As a mattress, it can give your entire family a good night's sleep. It is not like you get one mattress for your kid who sleeps mainly on their stomach, another kind for you because you love laying on your back or maybe your spouse will take care of different body types.

The comfort is the same for both light and heavy sleepers. Two spring systems work together to keep the level of comfort the same even when the person's body type varies.

Cool gel memory foam plus wavy top foam helps to reduce heat accumulation. High-density foam encasement prevents the mattress from collapsing at the edges. Medium-firm (6.5/10), which is the comfort level most hotel guests prefer.

Result: It's the only mattress that gives good comfort for a wider range of body types than a spring system that uses a single wire only. The guest satisfaction scores went up quite a ‍‌‍‍‌lot.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

1.‍‌‍‍‌ Wire Preparation: The high-carbon wires are first prepared, then drawn to the specified dimensions, 1.4mm and 1.9mm.

2. Spring Winding: The springs are entirely wound with machines, micro-pocket and base pocket springs respectively;

3. Dual-spring assembly: the micro-spring layer and base spring layer are combined together;

4. Edge reinforcement: the edges are reinforced with a thick foam encasement;

5. Pocket sealing: each spring is first wrapped in nonwoven fabric and then ultrasonically welded;

6. Layer assembly: a cooling gel memory foam is placed on top of a convoluted foam layer, followed by the spring system, and finally together with the base;

7. Quilting: the topmost layer with a high-quality knitted fabric cover is added;

8. Quality inspection: an online quality inspection is performed throughout each step;

9. Vacuum compression & roll packing: vacuum compressing, rolling and boxing the final ‍‌‍‍‌product.
