1、Each spring is individually wrapped with a nonwoven fabric pouch, allowing each spring to move freely and therefore the vibration transfer is effectively reduced.
2、These springs made of high-grade carbon-manganese steel wire last 2-3 times longer than regular steel springs and they are not easily deformed.
3、By employing high-precision automatic winding machines, the height and number of coils of the springs can be controlled within a tolerance of ±2mm to ensure consistent dimensions.
Product Introduction
Even today, quite a few hotel mattresses are equipped with open-coil systems, in which springs are interconnected. The issue with them is that when one spring is pressed down, its adjacent springs are the ones that get affected. Hence, motion transfer, uneven support, and quick sagging are some of the problems that arise. If a hotel experiences a large number of guests, this will result in guest dissatisfaction with aching backs and mattresses that have to be replaced every one and a half to two years. All these factors will have a negative impact on your operating margins.
The Solution:
This is the reason why our Pocket Spring Unit came into being. In contrast to open coils, where springs are interlinked, each spring in our unit is enclosed in strong nonwoven fabric and sealed together by either ultrasonic welding or hot melt adhesive. Such a method allows every spring to operate independently. Our product is created from a 1.6–2.4mm high-carbon steel wire, and its height can be altered from 7 to 28cm. It targets every pressure point separately and therefore complements the different shapes that bodies can take.
The Result:
Pocket springs, by nature independent, have been engineered to eliminate motion transfer and provide zoned support. This is how they can help with:
Lower number of guest complaints about mattress comfort
Extended time between mattress replacement compared to open-coil systems
High performance even under constant heavy use in hotels or in hotels with a specific theme
Note: Performance may differ depending on factors such as the way you use and construct your mattress.

Core Advantages:
The pocket Innersprings react to the contours of the body, evenly distributing the pressure and at the same time, keeping the spine in its natural alignment.
Subjected to a very high temperature to recover all elasticity; the special nonwoven fabric thickened layer is capable of resisting wear and aging.
The fabric is highly breathable, which allows the air to circulate better around the springs so the mattress core remains fresh and dry.
Fully automated production lines combined with separate quality control guarantee that each batch of products will have the same specifications and the same rebound performance.

How We Make Pocket Springs
Our pocket spring manufacturing relies on an automatic production line that guarantees accuracy at all stages. Here is what a typical production cycle looks like:
Step 1: Wire Coiling & Forming
Once high-carbon steel wire (72B grade, 1.6–2.4mm diameter) is delivered to us, our automatic coiling machines transform it into individual springs at a speed of 140–220 springs/min. The machine is capable of producing cylindrical and barrel-shaped springs, with the spring core diameter ranging from 40–70mm as an adjustable parameter.
Step 2: Individual Pocketing
Once a spring is formed, it is immediately enclosed in a high-strength polypropylene nonwoven fabric (60–100 g/m², width 340–690 mm), and the edges are sealed using ultrasonic welding. The nonwoven fabric continuously enters the system free of human-operated parts, and the final pocket quality is thereby guaranteed.
Step 3: Heat Treatment
After being made, the springs proceed to an in-line heat treatment furnace. The device heats the spring to a temperature at which the internal stresses are removed from the wire. As a result of this, the wire obtains improved elasticity and a longer fatigue life. The temperature control in this device is so precise that it is possible to obtain the best spring characteristics without harming the nonwoven fabric.
Step 4: Array & Bonding
Pocketed spring strings are transported directly from pocketing to the grid arranging station, where they form a pattern (either straight or staggered depending on the application). Adjacent springs are bonded together with hot melt adhesive that is applied by precision applicators. The adhesive is only applied intermittently (i.e., not in a continuous fashion) in order to reduce the cost of the raw material while at the same time maintaining the structural integrity.
Step 5: Quality Inspection
Automated fault detection is an important part of every manufacturing stage. In order to monitor the conditions precisely, sensors are utilized, and these monitor wire tension, fabric feeding, welding strength, and coverage with adhesive. If a unit is discovered to be of poor quality, it is discarded automatically. In terms of final height, the consistency of the springs is kept at a ±2 mm tolerance level.
Step 6: Packaging
Eventually, completed pocket spring units are pressed and strapped onto the pallets or roll-packed without a frame according to customer requirements.
